Following your request I have copied my post to the Windows feedback app. Nevertheless, it was clear that I won't get any reply from Microsoft at all (not even will they tell me when the problem is solved). Then I'll keep an eye on this Microsoft Community webpage .

Did you ever get EI to open to maximize window 10? This is driving me nuts held every button clicked every push button and still minimized. HELP

Hi,
That sounds like a completely different problem, similar a virus or some kind of corrupted files. Of course, when I click on the button to manually maximize the windows it works as expected. Then, I'd effort the following (in this gild, and restart your PC after trying every pace and check it the problem is solved before trying the side by side one):
i. Check the shortcut. Right click on the icon of the program that is not working properly (I think that by "EI" you meant to say Net Explorer) and select "Properties". On the 'Shortcut' tap, click on "Maximized" for the field "Run:"
2. Make a full virus scan using your antivirus software or Windows Defender. For this latter, open the Offset Bill of fare and type 'Windows Defender' and select "Windows Defender Desktop app ". Get to the "Update" tab and click on "Update", then wait until Windows Defender is updated and then go the "Home" tab, select "Full" from i of the radio buttons on the right. Then click on "Scan now".
3. Restore the shortcut. Right click on the icon of the program that is not working properly and select "Properties". Then select the "Previous versions" tab and restore the shortcut (if possible).
iv. Update your display adapter driver. Open the Star Carte du jour, type 'Device Manager' and select "Device Manager Control panel ". Then aggrandize "Brandish adapters" to see the proper name of your graphic bill of fare. Correct click on it and select "Update Driver Software…" and follow the steps to update it (who knows this may be the problem…).
5. Restore your PC without losing your data. Open the Star Carte du jour, type 'Restore' and click on "Create a restore point". On the "Organization Protection" tab select "Organization Restore…" and follow the steps. Detect that this fifth pick may also be very useful if afterwards updating the driver the icons look horrible (equally, indeed, information technology happened to me once) every bit you'll restore the previous driver.

Using Windows ten Home, version
After recent updates all windows open in an extremely small way, I constantly need to use minor square top correct to bring them to the size I like. I have checked properties on shortcuts, when programs are not open and ticked open maximised but this makes no deviation when I open up program. Likewise have looked at settings display but it looks okay to me What should I try next ?

yeah I'one thousand having same difficulty with " I E " I have gone to program properties in the shortcut and set it to " run " maximized ... even so opens normal have tried enlarghing it to max and so close and reopen still goes back to normal have tried enlarghing / stretching out the normal window to be the size I desire close and open then poof its back to its default sizing as well have scanned with my bit defender 2018 no viruses no malware no spyware of whatever kind by this bespeak and having crimson thousands of articals across the web n always finding documentation on how to set it to maximized in the shortcut properties and being told " this will work " and information technology doesn't I fifty-fifty tried an app ( cant remember name of now ) only that was a fail too equally it would open desired programs window " FULL screen " not maximized wich ment loosing my chore bar and everything else behind the fullscreened program I just want a window that fills my screen and leaves me with my task bar I have no answers from Microsoft and it just started doing this to me since last windows update
