Howdy,
I appreciate the communication, however the latest fixes & security updates are useless if they cause my reckoner to not function. The "update" that rolled out in October made it and then I was unable to navigate due to fonts getting messed upwardly to the signal where I could not see the words needed in club to click on. It started with the words nether the apps, then the apps, and so the menus.... dunno where it would have gone from at that place. I take had to reinstall windows at least a handful of times over the past year & each time was always right after an update. Then the battle to endeavor & figure out why this happened so I could piece of work effectually it. Luckily (if you wanna put it that mode), others had the same problems, and then there were plenty of fixes to effort until you lot hit the ane that works for whatever the conflict was, which often, even though the fix may piece of work, y'all never actually know what the underlying issue was. You just know you can finally get dorsum to what your windows based reckoner & that imitation sense of security that you feel because you are exhausted form having just spent a ridiculous mount of time doing something you lot should not accept had to in the outset identify. Never listen all the free energy expended on cursing at microsoft which doesn't give a rat'south butt cuz it has you by the nuts. & then in that location's the repeated swearing that you are all washed with microsoft & the ensuing drastic attempt to see if y'all tin detect some fashion to inexpensively switch to mac.... oh, merely the relief when it's all over & someone else out there gets it & you are non alone & and then the fix that works.... for a bit.... until information technology doesn't.... which brings me to my unanswered question in my original post. Maybe you don't know the respond, still the question was non referred to at all.
In Oct I had to do a reinstall after the update was released. I then went to settings, updates, avant-garde & set all of these to off. Up until yesterday, this kept the updates from installing. Any idea why this stopped working? Oh, & I set the wi-fi to metered just as an added measure.
Likewise, I was able to uninstall 1 of the microsoft updates that were installed yesterday, withal the other one is not giving me the option to uninstall. I would like information technology off/out of my computer. Would y'all please propose on how to exercise this?
Thanks
Kristi
